ShitFuckingShit Interview

1,Can you give us an update on what has been going on with the band since the recording of the new album?

We have recorded the new album, which is still unreleased, in 2014. After that we continued doing tons of gig, Italy, Slovenia, etc. We use to play more outside of our country.

2.Recently you have released a new promo, how would you describe the musical sound that is presented on the recording and also how does it differ from the stuff you have released in the past?

Well, the sound is definitely very powerful and killer, it was a choice we did for this particular album and for the meaning of it. It's like having the time of your life in a “life of excess”, where everything is more loud and feel sick in your head.

3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the music?

We use to talk about real facts which surround us, sometimes with black humour but always in touch with truth. Songs like “Geisterfahrer” or “Where is Mike” are very explicabel by themselves. The music is just an appendage.

4.Originally the band started out as a solo project, what was the decision behind adding another member?

SFS is a band where you could reverse everything negative you have in your feelings and thoughts. The members changed quite a lot during the years and each one of them took part because they had to express and put out allt he shit they had inside. Musically, they contribuited a lot to make this project a real band with his particular sound.

5.What are some of the best shows that the band has played over the years and also how would you describe your stage performance?

The gigs outside our country meant a lot to us, the most important was Blastonbury 2012, in Leeds UK. We met tons of people, most of them enthusiastic to see an Italian extreme band. It's very unspeakable how we felt after that gig when at the end of our show the stage was completely overrun by the audience. This means a lot to us cause it makes us happy when people understands the sounds and can share our rage on stage.

6.Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?

Yeah, we will tour UK this October 2014 and we're preparing another little tour probably in February along germany and netherlands.

7.Over the years you have been a part of a few splits, out of all of the bands that you have worked with on these albums which one did you enjoy the most?

It's very hard to say, we took part of them with tons of good bands, on cd, on cd-r, on tape on tape-r, on 7” etc we shared them with Agathocles, Utero Vaginal Peste, HAS, Bestial Vomit, Kadaverficker, etc. very very hard to answer this question.

8.Currently you are unsigned, have you received any label interest?

We are currently unsigned and we're looking for a label who could help us releasing our upcoming stuff which will be more intense and crazy than “Life Of Excess”.

9.On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of grindcore?

Quite good i must say, even if sometimes it's very difficult to hear us or tag us, we have different styles and influences inside our works. We don't care about tags by the way, so everything could change, especially during our shows. We face the extreme music in our way.

10.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?

Ahahah that's a good question. Right now our goal is to reach Obscene Extreme because we would really like to play there and have great party on and off stage. For the future who knows, we're moving but don't know of course where we're heading. We're always on line.

11.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your newer music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

I've personally always liked extreme underground music. Once i was a boy, i listened a lot to Assuck, Repulsion, first Metallica, Baphomet, Mortician, etc. Of course during the years, now i'm 30, i discovered tons of new things. That made me grow up, thinking about how to destroy music to recreate something new.

12.What are some of your non musical interests?

I like to do voluntary work as an English teacher for kids who don't want to go to public school due to our social and familiar problems. Helping them to build a new way of understanding of their own perception of the world outside is very satisfying to me.

13.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?

First of all i want to thank you for it and i would like to invite people to check out our bandcamp page and contact us whenever they would like to.
